In 2018 Nepal New Covenant College and development partners began work on and started Genesis Agro Pvt. Ltd. in Kerabari-6, Dale, Morang. GAPL owns 15,238.35 m² of land, a tractor, and 13 greenhouses, and has well-trained workers.
The vision of GAPL is to generate an increasing income for NNCC through production of organically grown nutritious food which will contribute to people’s improved health, to branch out to other locations, and to become a research center for organic agriculture. In addition, GAPL aims to practice responsible agricultural and business practices as an example for the local community.
At present, GAPL is organically producing and selling cucumbers, tomatoes, capsicum, and chilies, and Dragan fruits with hopes of expanding this variety. We continue to pray for other equipment and modern technology.
